IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION!
High School Musical Theatre will fill up incredibly quickly, so this is the protocol for registration. When SHEEP registration opens, you must send an email to Jenny Stauffer at stauff1 [at] yahoo [dot] com stating your interest then submit your official SHEEP class registration as usual. You should not register for Musical Theatre unless your slot has been confirmed. Students will be given available slots or placed on a wait list based on the order in which emails are received (pending confirmation of your official SHEEP registration).
If your official registration with SHEEP is not confirmed by April 23, your child’s place held on the email basis will be given to the next child on the list. This is why it is ESSENTIAL that you submit your SHEEP registration and email us as soon as possible. Your student’s status will be confirmed via email by late April (hopefully sooner!)
Do you enjoy singing and performing? The HS Musical Theater class is a performance class that will put on a Broadway musical in Spring 2018 (Show TBD). We will rehearse on Fridays from 11-3 at Riverbluff Church (lunch break included). Auditions are required. Each student MUST perform a one-minute monologue AND sing a song from a musical. Students must use accompaniment for their audition song. Auditions will be held before the first day of rehearsal.
Rehearsal time is valuable. We strive to make this the best show possible – this class requires COMMITMENT and PARTICIPATION from every student and parent. Each actor plays an important role and should plan to be at every rehearsal to make the show a success! All students and parents need to be a part of a Facebook group and will be asked to sign a commitment form.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be extra Saturday rehearsals closer to the performance that will be MANDATORY. There will be a small ticket fee for the show. Parents are responsible for costumes and any fees associated with costumes
