Class Theme:  “God, the master artist!”

Students will discover the world of mixed media art in this course and will be encouraged to look at God’s great creation for inspiration.  This will be an intriguing, project-based study where modern art, nature, and specialty medias will come together! This year expect the following projects:
Polymer Art in Sculpture
Polymer Art in Jewelry –  (the guys in the class will be making some very cool key chains and other options too)
Stencil and Canvas Abstracts
Discovering Acrylics and Textures
Painting with Pan Pastels
Bringing Elements of Nature into Mixed Media Collage
Creating “Journey Journals”
and several more projects!
Supplies will be provided by the teacher.  Supply fees are $75 for the year per student.
About the teacher/artist:
Shannon Tabor is a local artist in Charleston that has been honored, awarded, and recognized on an international level.  She is an advanced polymer and mixed media artist who teaches her skills and techniques both locally and all over the world.  Her passion for art has also led her to become an author and columnist in multiple magazines dedicated to her art.
