American Government is a one-semester high school course that provides a half-year credit in government. Lessons will cover Federal, state, and local government.

Special emphasis is placed on the Biblical basis for government and on the U.S. Constitution. We will have homework assignments, tests, and projects. We will be using the Notgrass text, Exploring Government (2016 edition). The textbook is the only book required for this class. This class begins January 2018.

 

Economics is a one-semester high school course that helps students understand economic terms and issues that have an impact on the United States and its citizens. We will have homework assignments, tests, and projects. We will be using the Notgrass text, Exploring Economics (2016 edition). The textbook is the only book required for this class. This class begins September 2017.

Homework Policy

Homework assignments must be completed. Class discussions and activities are based on the previous week’s assignment(s).
